2022 will be here before you know it! If you are like most, you want to make changes in your life this year, and maybe, you had the same goals in 2021, but they just didn’t happen. The best way to accomplish your New Year’s resolutions this year is to make achievable goals. Check out these ideas and make it the best year yet!

Schedule More Fellowship

Don’t walk through 2022 alone! This year, make it a priority to spend more time with friends. Whether you want to choose one day a week to meet for dinner or a gym class, or start a supper club, making time for friends is good for your mental health.

Get Outdoors

Speaking of mental health, another way to improve it is by taking time to get outside each day and enjoy the sunshine. Not only will it increase your adventurous side and health, but it will reduce your stress. Make time each day to take a walk, go on a jog, play with the dog in the yard, or do some yard work. Sometimes the best cure is some vitamin D!

Extend Kindness

One of the easiest goals to both make and meet are just to simply be more kind to others. For example, make it a point to give out more compliments. Often, we give out compliments in our head, but we never speak them. For example, if your co-worker truly excelled in a project, be sure to let them know. Or, if you love someone’s shoes, be sure to tell them. Share some love this year!

Grow Something

Is your home in need of something green? If don’t have a green thumb, 2022 is a great time to grow one. Start small with real plants in your home, nurture and care for them, and watch them grow. It’s symbolism of a new year, as you too will grow throughout 2022.

Wake Up Earlier

Not much of a morning person? Make a point to go to bed earlier and wake up earlier, and watch your life change. Slow mornings allow for more self reflection, productive days, and of course, a much needed extra cup of coffee.
